Final Cut Pro is a relatively new digital video editing and effects application used in professional and semi-professional television post-production . This introductory course will familiarise participants with Final Cut Pro’s basic approach to video editing, as well as providing additional insights into a wider range of special features and functionality.

  • Log and capture footage
  • Create a short movie using cuts and transitions
  • Apply audio and visual effects filters
  • Import and animate multi-layer Photoshop image files

Managing and organising clips using the browser and bins.

Creating movement using motion properties
Using transitions and filters with video and audio

Day 2

Creating titles and effects using generators
Importing and animating Photoshop layers

Exporting material for multimedia and internet through QuickTime
Laying off to tape using Print to Video
